Steel grating, also known as bar grating or metal grating, is an open grid assembly of metal bars, in which the bearing bars, running in one direction, are spaced by rigid attachment to cross bars running perpendicular to them or by bent connecting bars extending between them, which is designed to hold heavy loads with minimal weight.
 

Steel grating is made of flat steel and twisted steel according to a certain spacing and cross bars (twisted square steel, square steel, round steel, flat steel, etc.), and welded into a steel anti-skid product with a square grid in the middle, Steel gratings are mainly used for gutter cover, steel structure platform slabs, step ladders and so on. The crossbar is generally made of twisted square steel, and the steel grating is generally made of carbon steel, and the surface is hot-dip galvanized to prevent oxidation. 

It can also be made of stainless steel. The steel grating has the properties of ventilation, lighting, heat dissipation, non-slip, and explosion-proof.
